Psychotherapy

I am an extensively trained and skillful clinical psychologist and have been working in the field of psychotherapy for over 30 years. I have experience in multiple arenas and modalities and specialize in psychodynamic psychotherapy. My work is informed by relational psychology, family systems theory and cognitive behavioral therapy. I believe insight-oriented therapy helps to provide a unique understanding of how one's past and present connect and is necessary in making therapeutic gains sustainable. I provide long term and brief counseling services, and am experienced with adults, adolescents, couples, and families struggling with impasse and emotional issues. I strive to provide a safe, judgement-free environment in which to identify, explore and resolve conflicting issues for all my clients. Over the years I have helped many individuals and families overcome their emotional struggles so that they can return to an authentic, balanced, and satisfying life.

My current areas of expertise and interests include:

  • Relationship and Attachment Issues
  • Depression and Anxiety
  • Developmental Life Cycle transitions, Identity and Aging
  • Trauma informed therapy
  • Grief and Bereavement
